Using CoreView Plan the engineer can easily define measurable features, set multiple alignment guidelines, capture GD&T requirements, and prepare reporting templates for later use and so on.

CoreView Plan is an easy to use tool with dedicated functionality which allows a fast learning curve for new user and automated functionality for increasing personal throughput. CoreView Plan generates full dimensional measurement programs in the CoreView format which can be quickly communicated and loaded on Optigo and OptiCell dimensional measurement platforms used in the engineering and production shop floors.

CoreView Plan functionality allows the following:

• Generating new measurement programs or editing existing ones
• Previewing and editing CAD data as needed
• Importing nominal features data into CoreView Plan
• Automatically identifies and defines continuous edge lines for measurement 
• Interactive feature definition based on CAD data
• Setting dimensions and tolerances for defined features
• Generating multiple unique Setups per part
• Providing specific alignment guidelines for each setup
• Defining multiple cross sections and related dimensions
• Providing standard and customized callout elements
• Creating slides and standard reporting templates
• Communicating multiple measurement programs to other CoreView Plan and CoreView Pro users for continued work or approval and to Optigo/OptiCell platforms too
• Integrate a CoreView Master Part into an existing measurement program and distribute it across the organization. 

In addition, CoreView Plan has the optional ability to interface to the CogniTens Dimensional Domain Server and transform from a local application to a server enabled collaborative allowing collaborative on-line work.

CoreView Plan can export full dimensional measurements programs to Optigo and OptiCell platforms using Version 3.6.

For newly bought desktop and daptop computers, CogniTens recommends the following configuration

Processor: Pentium 4 comparable or higher, 2.4 GHz or better
Operating system: Windows XP
Disk space: 30 GB or more
Memory (RAM): 512 MB or more
Graphics Accelerator: supports Open GL.

Minimal System Configuration
CoreView Plan is designed to operate on desktop and laptop computers which have the following minimal requirements:

Processor: Pentium 3 comparable, 1.5 GHz minimum or higher.
Operating system: Windows 2000 with SP2 minimum
Memory (RAM): 256 MB or more
Graphics Accelerator: supports Open GL.

Installation
The OptiPlan CD comes with an installer that will guide you through the installation process. Enter the CD and the setup will start automatically.
If the setup does not start, please double-click the Setup.exe file icon and follow the setup instructions. The program is installed in directory C:\CogniTens\.

License Key
To start using the CoreView Plan product you will need to place your CoreView Plan License file in directory C:\Cognitens. The license is issued based on your unique computer characteristics. To issue a suitable license the user double-clicks the CTprotectHostIDTool in directory C:\Cognitens\bin, copies the Host ID number which appears in the window and sends it to the administrator. 

Uninstall
CoreView Plan is easily uninstalled using the Windows Control Panel “Remove Software” application.
